I am an independent financial planner and adviser, specialising in providing expert advice that is individually tailored for my business and personal clients’ needs. I offer a comprehensive service that covers investment, pensions and insurance. I am a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and hold a Diploma in Financial Planning and certificates in both Mortgage Advice and Equity Release. I live in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and my clients are based in the Cotswolds and throughout the south of England, London and the south-west. I’m a keen sportsman and enjoy yacht racing, back-country skiing and supporting Gloucester Rugby. I’m also a fly-fisherman and active in river protection and habitat restoration. I’ve been involved in financial services since 1992, joining the Industrial Bank of Japan as an intern trading Eurobonds. After finishing my degree, I moved to Credit Suisse First Boston’s risk management team in Canary Wharf. Since then, I’ve been incredibly fortunate and have gained a wealth of experience from a varied career, which has spanned business ownership, insurance, professional sport (ocean racing), ship broking and educational leadership.
