Please be aware that with immediate effect the witnessing of wills via video conference (remote witnessing) is no longer valid.
As you will know by now the Government will be imposing new national restrictions in England beginning Thursday 5th November 2020.
the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is expected to announce later this week that the video witnessing of wills is soon to become legal.

In this purely speculative piece we will be looking at what the future of Will Writing may look like thanks to the technology available to us already.
It’s all well and good taking instructions remotely but this is just the first step. The next hurdle is getting the will properly signed, and unfortunately this hurdle is much harder to overcome.
It has been a difficult decision but we have decided to follow the government's guidelines and close The College of Will Writing to all residential courses for the foreseeable future.
