Professional Forums
Since 2017, EPPL has organised public education initiatives through seminars, focussed on subject-specific matters relating to estate planning. These serve to highlight the importance of proper planning before any adversity or life-changing events and brings EPPL into the forefront of being a leading provider of education in the Southeast Asia region, including Hong Kong, for estate planning professionals. The focussed topics include Trusts, Estate Administration, the Lasting Power of Attorney, Charitable Giving and Business Succession.
Like Public Forums, EPPL also conducts the professional series we call the Professional Estate Planning and Wealth Succession Forums. These professional forums, targeted more towards a professional/business perspective, welcoming attendance of professional financial advisers.
In Singapore, participants for these forums can apply for grants from the International Business and Finance Institute, and CPF points are credited for their attendance.
AEPP® Business Delegation, Mission and Networking EduTrips
From 2020, EPPL has been organising Business Delegation, Mission and Networking EduTrips to better understand emerging markets where untapped opportunities abound. The first of such trip was to Jakarta, Indonesia on 15th and 16th January 2020. This is an opportunity for delegates to network with Indonesian AEPP® Chapter designees and explore collaborations with them. Additionally, delegates will gain insights on topics relating to Family Business Succession, Tax and Estate Planning from the Indonesia (East Java) and Singapore perspectives. EPPL has recently organised another EduTrip to Indonesian (Surabaya) from 19th to 21st July 2023.
