Every year on New Year’s Day people across the country announce their plans for the coming year.
Earlier this year the Society of Will Writers through the College of Will Writing its training division, and without any fanfare launched a fully interactive LMS on-line distance learning course, entitled Getting Started – an Introduction to Wills and Estate Planning Certificate Distance Learning Course.
The College of Will Writing (CWW) is the training arm for the Society of Will Writers (SWW) and is open to the whole profession for will writing courses.
This week The College of Will Writing put on the first two of four General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Essentials courses, tutored by Gary Payne of the Gill Payne Partnership Ltd.
Becoming a Will Writer or Estate Planning Consultant can be an incredibly rewarding role.
Everybody should have a Will, but they should only have one drafted by a trained professional.
Following on from the launch of the dedicated will writer training centre in 2014, the SWW has developed a range of courses for Estate Planning Professionals and solicitors.
The SWW are finding that more and more members are making the most of their membership benefits and are responding well to the SWW’s attempts to strengthen self-regulation.
When the Society of Will Writers opened its doors in April of 1994 it had a relatively simple objective – ‘To be a representative body whilst providing protection to the consumer’.
Will Writing is a great opportunity and often attracts a multitude of people from financial advisors, mortgage brokers, bank workers, accountants, law graduates as well as ex-service personnel to name a few professions.
The Society of Will Writers is a non-profit making self-regulatory organisation whose primary objectives are the advancement, education and ethical standards within the will writing profession.
