The Society of Will Writers has the largest database of qualified and
indemnified Will Writers in the UK.
As a financial adviser, do you always enquire of your clients whether they

So why use the Society?
The Society is the largest organization of its kind in
the UK and we have members throughout the UK and beyond, in fact wherever
there are concentrations of UK nationals who have assets in the UK and
abroad you are almost certain to find A Society member.
Taking client instructions and drafting a legally valid Last Will and
Testament takes valuable time and expertise. Many financial Advisors suggest
that their clients make their Will through a solicitor, often even though it
has been discussed, it never happens. Other clients may choose to use their
bank; this will almost certainly ensure some loss of business to you. Most
Financial advisers feel that they would rather continue doing what they do
best and leaving the complicated and exacting matter of drafting Wills to
others. To this end the Society can and does help many hundreds of Financial
Advisers each year to establish a Will Writing practice to provide their
clients with the Wills that they should have as part of the overall Estate
Planning Practice.
So How Do I Gain New Clients?
It is important that your clients' Executors etc. are aware of their
responsibilities. To this end we are geared to ensuring that they fully
understand the implications of their nomination. This is done by ensuring
that you have the necessary details on the duties involved for that person,
so that you can meet with them explain their office and of course assist
them with any other advice they may need. We call it “prospecting without
tears” every Will has executors, trustees and in the case of families with
minor children guardians as well as two independent witnesses
